Dennings dated her "2 Broke Girls" co-star, Nick Zano, from between 2011 and the year 2014. After breaking up, she then began dating singer Josh Groban. The couple remained together up to 2016. Dennings first came across Andrew W.K., a musician in the early years of 2021. Within a brief time span they began dating and, in the month of the month of May, 2020 they revealed their wedding. Dennings has been a fan since the year 2014. Although Dennings was Jewish, she has stated that she is more a part of the faith on an ethnic and cultural level and is not a religious active part of her life. There are a myriad of activities, which include gardening, reading and painting. She was planning to enroll in an art college, however after the entire portfolio of her was destroyed by floods her plans dissolved. Then, she decided to interpret this as a sign to pursue acting.
