Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, as well as Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted as a child and began second grade at five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she earned her diploma in 1975. Additionally, she participated in the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt relocated out of New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. The two signed on with The Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. After spending a year living in Milan and Paris, Stone moved to Europe. But, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling in Europe which led her to take up acting in Europe while she was there. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed receptions.
