Andrea Joy Cook is also known by the nickname A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actress. Her most well-known role is her character in the CBS crime-drama police Criminal Minds where she portrays the Supervisory Special Agent, also known by the name of Jennifer Jareau. The show was on air from 2005 and as of 2017 it is running in its thirteenth season. Cook was born in Oshawa in Canada's Ontario province and showed early signs of interest in acting. Her career in acting began with her role as the TV guest on Goosebumps. In 1999 she made her acting debut in the film The Virgin Suicides. The film, however, was not a huge success. Following that, she began appearing as a character in the American Canadian drama series Higher Ground in which she was one of the lead parts.
